So recently my youngest child went through a lengthy period of bullying - without us knowing. It esculated to a point that involved weapons and he is only 9.

We immediately notified the school and district office.

Pm Day 1 - I Discover the situation

Lunchtime Day 2 - Call from guidance officer

PM Day 2 - Speak with teacher

Summary of day 2 - advised "bigger problem" discovered within the grade with systemic bullying by a particular group.

After this the only contact we have had has been from the chaplain who has inspired our boy to continue going to school and to not be so fearful.

Tell me how this has not been a positive experience. The Chaplain has kept in touch with us, our son and the rest of the grade to build better social interaction skills.

How is this program not positive?

From time to time, like with all programs and social groups, some may be a little more "indoctrinating" than others however all our experiences have been positive and all the teachers we know support it too.
